Krise Ranch & Gravel is a 4th generation cattle ranch and commercial gravel pit.  Krise Ranch originally specialized in registered Black Angus breeding stock, however, the ranch now concentrates its efforts on commercial Black Angus and Black Angus Cross breeding and beef stock, as well as quality hay production and pasture management for summer and fall grazing.  Cropland is also rented to local farmers.

The Krise Pit began in 1976, under the care of Jim Krise and his mom, Dorothy Ann Krise (nee Holter).  Initially, they provided material for county and state projects. In 2012, Jim Krise partnered with Arnt Construction, and the Krise Pit now provides a wide variety of spec material for various commercial and private projects throughout Northwestern North Dakota.
